Urbana, IL This masonry chimney was plastered with hydraulic lime plaster in a 3-coat process. The plaster was textured to match the plaster walls and ceiling and painted with a natural clay paint. The fireplace surround is bluestone.
Urbana, IL *Residential Heritage Award winner* This distinctive arched window from the early 1900s was falling apart. Rather than replace the old-growth wooden frame, it was repaired with wood epoxy. Only the half-round in the sunburst had to be completely remade.
