Retro Bathroom Remodel

How can a dark, small, ½ bathroom be converted to an open, ¾ bathroom without increasing its footprint? In this case, it required a clever use of space, waterproofing and tiling the majority of the bathroom, and adding a sun-tunnel light tube for natural day light.  While not pictured here, a narrow, fixed shower glass panel was also installed to help protect the refurbished, original painted wood cabinet. Maximum function with minimal space!
