Cedar Side Entrance Porch Remodel

Cedar cladding and treated wood make this small side entrance porch beautiful and strong again. The joists and posts holding everything up were rotting, so sound new wood was spliced to the bottom of the old load-bearing posts, and the rest of the porch was removed and rebuilt. Copper caps topped off the abbreviated posts.
