1881 Farmstead Exterior Restoration

*Heritage Award Winner* The exterior siding and trim of this 1881 Mahomet Farmstead were removed down to the original skip-sheathing to make way for proper air sealing and insulation, house-wrap, flashing, new clapboard siding and trim. Many of the windows were lovingly restored and protected with newly fabricated wood storms. The original front porch that had disappeared long ago, was reconstructed based on historic photos of the property. Copper roofs crown the bay windows that frame pastoral views of the surrounding fields.
