Professional development and continuing education are key to maintaining a broad and versatile skill set for New Prairie Construction staff.

By seeking additional training and certifications we have expanded our base to include the following areas of expertise:

• Certified Home Energy Auditing through the Building Performance Institute (also see our Energy Efficiency page for more info)
  

• Mixing and applying historic lime mortars and plasters (see U.S. Heritage)
  

• Wood window restoration

• Making and applying natural paints and finishes

• Certified lead containment and cleaning methods (see our Lead-Safe Remodeling page for more info)

• Straw bale building

We are a certified Act on Energy Ally, allowing our customers to qualify for incentives when making their homes more energy efficient.
